Hi, I'm Nick. Nice to meet you.
I am a visual designer specializing in brand ID and interface design for web and mobile applications.
I help my clients find appropriate and desirable solutions through art direction and illustration.
I am currently designing with the good folks at Input Logic. That being said, I always look to take on a few new clients of my own & meet up with like minded individuals doing awesome stuff in the world of design. This site is a portfolio of some recent projects I have had a hand in shaping. Follow my Dribbble account for my most recent project updates.
The Freshwater Trust is built on an approach called "quantified conservation." This is the idea that conservation actions must be linked to positive, quantifiable outcomes for the environment. I teamed up with two talented designers on this project. My roles were art direction, web layout and visual design.
Various logo marks and identity systems created over the past few years. This collection is a combintation of marks created while freelancing and while working for various agencies. The goal with every identity job is create a suite of marks that my clients can use across multiple platforms, think of it as "responsive branding".
I am a firm believer that illustrated elements can take project a long way. Whether that be a set of appropriately designed icons for a website or a playful illustration for product packaging, illustration can help push the art direction of a project to the next level. I in most of my spare time. My main styles of illustration are line art and landscape studies.
