This poster was crafted with reference to the psychedelic festival posters of the late 60’s and early 70’s. It was meant to bring back the feeling of the great old outdoor festivals such as Woodstock. The poster was hand lettered with the title being the main point of visual attraction. The audience would be drawn into the festival name from the psychedelic lettering and shapes, with their eyes then leading them down into the list of headliners and bands playing the festival. The poster could also be run as a print ad in any music magazine.
