This poster was created for a local Jazz singer to promote her shows that happen every Thursday night. The goal of the poster was to draw in a younger crowd to the lounge. Jazz usually speaks to an older group, so the use of interesting visuals and layout were very important to connect with our target. The splatter of watercolour paint used is symbolic of the explosion of passion and emotion that goes into the artist’s performance.
